How is having a ball on the day of liberation of the death camps "dancing on graves"? The internees were liberated and it was the death knell of the Nazis! What sense does that make to have it on that day on purpose? Its not a somber memorial! Its a ball for chrissake! Neo-Nazis are not celebrating liberation of the death camps! Duh!

Some people will just say anything!

Don't blame the limited extent of your random knowledge on Austria.

When do these soft-hearted leftists with such long memories mourn the deaths of 3 million Ukrainians by the Soviet communists during the orchestrated famine of the 1930's? Oh, they don't? Surprise.

    As far as you know...

Yes, Austria was the birthplace of Hitler, but it was also the birthplace of Frederich Hayek and Ludwig Mises, two of the greatest economists and political theorists of the last 200 years. Mises was reviled by right- and left-wing statists of his day for proving via his work on economic calculation and price theory that 'true' socialism, German (NAZI) or Russian (Commie) , could never work; Hayek (Keynes' chief rival thru the 30s and 40s) went on to explain why central planning invariably devolves into servitude and slavery, the 'road to serfdom.' Ron Paul, Rand Paul and guys like senate candidate Peter Schiff meet the same resistance and blind hatred in America today.

Mises was forced to flee across Europe to escape Hitler's **National Socialists **, who broke into his apartment, destroyed his personal libray and confiscated his works.

The classical liberal tradition has always been a threat to leftists, fascists and statists.

"Ball organizers insisted the fact that their event coincided this year with the 67th anniversary of the death camp’s liberation was coincidental and denied suggestions that those attending were extremists."

Anyone who actually believes this is dumber than a post. Anyone who actually espouses or supports Neo-Nazism is even dumber.

magistratus: "What sense does that make to have it on that day on purpose?"

To bring in people with like-interests -- Neo-nazi extremists -- and fan the flames that bring out their hate. Also for provocation and advertisement. You think we'd be hearing about this if they had not INTENTIONALLY chosen this date? Nope!
