After all the years that this fighting has been going on Sri Lanka is close to ending it, & though the end may suit anyone it is an end, & what do the idiot EU want? A period in which the Tigers can escape & regroup & restart this all over again
“They are holding their own people hostage, the international community should recognize this,” he said. Now doesn’t this remind anyone of somewhere else? Though in this case the Sri Lankans are not Jewish so no one is going to write too much about it.

"Even Sri Lanka laughs at them."
Heh, who's example should we be following, esteemed brother?

Totally agree with this. Of course now that I think about it, I'm surprised that all the Pal supporters aren't here screaming. I mean genocide, genocide! This is exactly what Israel has been dealing with for the past 50 years. Wow, how amusing. I expect to see a bunch of the Palestinian supporters denouncing me, and of course Sri Lanka for these barbaric actions, killing innocent civilians!

Colombo unheeded to international pressure is carrying on this senseless war with more ferocity. People like me who have families trapped in the conflict zone hear only worst news coming out from there. Tamil minority is uprooted from their traditional homeland and made captive in subhuman camps. Tamils will soon be wiped out of the map. Like in Sudan, International Community bears responsibility for delaying justice to this longstanding conflict.

This war seems unstopppable. Countries assisting Colombo should not be part of this genocide
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s telephone call to President Mahinda Rajapaksa was described by the government media as an acknowledgement that Sri Lanka was on the verge of defeating terrorism. But the official communiqué of the United States highlighted concern on the deteriorating conditions and loss of life in the government designated safe zone.
