some14some- Heck!!! Al Qaida area spent force now. They don`t have the ability to launch a major attack.

The US with the help of its allies have stamped out the terrorist threat, just like they said they would. Wish more people would be thankfull to the BUsh administration for it though.

Al-Quaida cooperating with a Hindu organization? That sounds extremely implausible. Unless they come up with evidence, I say the Sri Lankan government made that up to get some sympathy and maybe access to US funds.

WilliB, the Tamil Tiger - Al Qaeda understanding to act in concert has been known about amongst international law enforcement authorities for some time. THE TAMIL TIGERS ARE NOT A HINDU ORGANISATION! Its leaders are docrtinaire naxalite marxists but more importantly, simply haters of the Sinhalese! The "Hindu" part is played up in India for emotional support. In the West, they masquerade as "champions of Christians". Is that more plausible to you? The Tamil Tigers have been active in countries where Al Qaeda is active, including Afghanistan, India & Southern Phillipines.

The Tamil Tigers themselves brag about how their taught Al Qaeda "rebels" how to use the suicide-bombing vest! The Tamil Tigers, unlike Al Qaeda has a well organised lobbying and propoganda machinery in the West (including in christian churches and "human rights" organisations) and, as masters os psychology, they play on western ideas of superiority over non-western societies to undermine any genuine credibility of the Sri Lankan government, the Sinhalese people in particular. Hey, you dont have to accept what the Sri Lankan evidence. There is evidence from western sources.
