Where are the protests? Where are the 'pacifists' out parading their consciences all over London, Paris, Sydney, New York? And where are the 'moderate' Muslims? This monster Bashir has overseen murder of tens or even hundreds of thousands of his fellow Mohammedans.

In short, elsewhere. In long, probably sticking their heads in the sand hoping the whole situation will blow over. Because its so easy to voice outcry when thousands are being slaughtered but when given the chance to rectify the problem they run around like lambs in the face of the wolf. Theres also the media issue, Darfur simply hasn't been getting the coverage that it used to and the politicians aren't exactly tripping over each other to bring it up again.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's got more guts and more integrity than the whole Arab league. I'm appalled that the Arab League would back up total evil. But then 19 evil men came from Saudi Arabia, so I understand now.
Remember when the AL offered the invite? They promised him he wouldn't be arrested. < :-)

The Arab league is not going to to get excited about human rights. A little genocide in Darfur, who cares among brothers. Now, if someone had "offended" the religion of peace, that would be a different story!

Actually, mostly black Christians and animists in Southern Sudan. Which makes it all the more unlikely that the Arab League loses any sleep about it.

Which makes it all the more unlikely that the Arab League loses any sleep about it." glad someone had the guts to let that be known.
