It's as if Pakistan is challenging Iraq for the dubious honor of being the suicidal bomber capital of the muslim world.

I'm hardly that gullible and blindly patriotic like you suggest. Unlike you, I acknowledge that the US has things that are wrong with it too, and as a citizen I can vote and try to influence better decisions in the country, while the majority may not see it the way I do. But with the bad comes good, which you are also failing to acknowledge yourself. This is about Pakistan, but since you're so US centric on basing all the problems and faults of the world on one country whilst ignoring the fact that its the result of many countries actions (yours included most likely) is very bad hypocrisy. Enjoy sitting on the fence throwing your eggs, until reality comes along and repays your arrogance for not assisting in anything to fix the problem but eager to throw blame without taking any responsibility yourself.

BTW since the US is trying to keep some sort of standing reputation in the UN (in spite of its uselessness), do you think it is diplomatic to say, "No we won't go and because we don't feel like it"? In the world of global politics, the motto of,"I'll rub your back if you'll rub mine" is pretty much the rule unless corruption is involved i.e Afganistan. If one country helps another they either agree that when time comes for the other to be in need of assistance their bedfellows will be much more willing to help. You think Pakistan would sit still and let US bomb areas of their country (to the extent where the Pakistani government is trading information with the US military on where and when to attack)and not complain that the US is trying to move their "imperialist regime" on Pakistan? Seems they both have a common enemy that harbors and developes even more hostile entities that are a thorn in both countries sides.

Every country usually wants something in return, which is why there many other nations in need are going through hell and no country is really stepping in to help them.
