How can anyone get 95 years and still walk free on the streets? I guess something's very wrong with the system.

What in God's name is the relation between forcing women to undress and second degree rape of a child??? If they happened together you would think they would be mentioned together. Is the reporting or what?

He would be nuts enough to forcing his wife and family members to get naked, but if that is all he did, what part of left field did the rape charge come from?

TSRnow: How can anyone get 95 years and still walk free on the streets?

Wrong question. The question is how can a 17 year old get 95 years for aggravated robbery? I think Huckabee asked himself that very question and that was nine years ago. Hindsight is 20/20. Huckabee made the right choice because he does not have the crystal ball some people think they have.

I guess this will stitch up any chance of Huckabee becoming president.

Huckabee aside, the Arkansas parole board had issued a no-bail warrant for Clemmons this past year. This should have secured a one-way ticket out of Washington, but when Clemmons was arrested several months ago, Arkansas cleared the warrant so he could not be returned. This is a common practice between US States, to not pay extradition costs and to let the other State deal with their past problem. Clemmons later posted bail and, well, now this. If laws are changed as a result of this, then a little good has come from this tragedy. Still, it's no relief for the families right now.

Clemmons has had access to handguns, rifles and shotguns, Troyer said.

The writer left out military assault rifles, which can be easily purchased at gun shows.

A similar assassination of a cop took place in Seattle a month ago. The murderer was also of a different race than the man he killed, in cold blood. But for some reason these don't get called 'hate crimes' and media focus is quickly switched to irrelevant inanities like 'gun control' or pointless discussions about suitable length of sentencing for predator scum.

media focus is quickly switched to irrelevant inanities like 'gun control'

Yeah I am sure the families of the slain think gun control is irrelevant and inane to the grief they feel.

What a dickish thing to say.

"but for some reason these don't get called 'hate crimes'"

    What's your point?

I presume your're talking about officer Brenton's assasination - but what evidence do you have to suggest either of these incidents are "hate crimes"?

I don't believe in totally banning guns, but I feel it's fair to understand gun control being brought up after an individual walks into a room, kills four police officers for no apparent reason and then disapears on the run apparently armed to the teeth.....

Heh, you mean you can't muster a retort to a challenge?

    What a surprise.

And that gives you the right to cower away from a challenge on the comments you made that you apparently cannot defend regarding "hate crimes" because you only want to debate with Americans?

    Pfff.

At no time have I made any negative references to the police murdered here. Perhaps you should should reflect before posting, especially with such offending remarks.
