The islamic block nations along with Venezuela believe that if they say things long enough and loud enough, that people will believe them. They forget that the rest of the world is fairly intelligent, and not like the masses that follow them in their respective nations.

Syria may have a point, but Iraq for example, was way more stable under Saddam Hussein, did we really need to blow up all of their infrastructure? I guess only Bush and Cheney can try to answer that one huh?

Speaking objectively u can extend ur hand to someone then give weapons to his enemy. When two kids are fighting, a responsible come talk to them equally treat them equally and try to make them re conciliate.This is how diplomacy should work.

Assad's father, in 1982, killed between 17 and 40 thousand of his own subjects in a matter of days in the massacre of Hama.

You have to be bizarrely obsessed with America to believe it is like Syria.

Assad, of course, is right. The U.S. has certainly sowed chaos everywhere it's been.

Look at Afghanistan, it was nice and peaceful under the Taliban, and now look what we've got - "money bags" Karzai! LOL!

Look at Iraq - it was nice and peaceful under secular Saddam, and now look what we've got - feuding factions! LOL!

By the way, what percentage of the popular vote did Bashar Assad receive when he was elected president of Syria? Oh that's right, there wasn't any real election - he was basically given the job by his father! LOL!

Chaos - yeah. Afghanistan, Somalia, Lebanon, these were all paragons of order and civility. Why, they were up there with Syria. Sounds like baby Assad is ticked that the world knows Syria was involved in the assassination of Hariri.

The USA and Israel would love to destroy Hezbolla... Hezbolla is not "Lebanon", it is rather a version of Lebanon, backed by Syria and Iran. The USA and Israel would prefer to see the other Lebanon, the prosperous, stable, progressive, westernized Lebanon of the past restored. I'm not sure how you imagine formenting jiahad and Islamic radicalism is a goal for western powers.
