    "The current situation in Syria is a stain on the world's conscience and the international community has a moral duty to address it," European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso said in Oslo as the EU received the Nobel Peace Prize.

    It is Shame that Europe awarded itself with the Nobel Peace Prize. It became customary that the Nobel Peace Prize is a joke, awarded "in advance", hoping that the laureate maybe will change their politics in the future.

    JT, why don't you publish a paper on the Syrian topic, such as this one here from yesterdays Washington Times, for pluralism sake:

    "PIPES: Islamists are worse than dictators. Morsi moves prove U.S. mistake"
