Canadians told to leave???? WT_? Are they Canadians working there? helping Assad kill his own people and export terror? Or are they talkling about Syrians with Canadian citizenship? If those folks go to Canada they'll be arrested and deported just like Lebanese. Canadians don't even know the difference between the 2 nations, if they could even find em on a map.

I bet the US war machine is itching to get in there and start pouring billions more profits to the US weapons manufactures. This must be a dream come true for the rotten/selfish people who own/control the US war machine....

And once again, Canadian tax payers get to bail out "Canadians" who have never stepped foot in Canada, let alone live there. And people are up in arms because Canada is trying to strip away citizenship from them. Lebanon all over again.
Jeremiah, not idea what you're talking about - who was arrested? People without valid Canadian passports who claimed to be Canadian?
I wish the Syrians well. They've suffered enough.

Reading on the net that these Syrian-Canadians are in a real spot.Leave Syria and the Assad security apparatus thinks you are a spy or activist and they take your house or property. You flee to Canada and risk being deported by the racist Canadian government. And Syria still monitors your activities overseas and on the net also.

Globalwatcher. I agree with you, I am sure the US public is very glad to out of Iraq. However, I am certain the profit driven businesses that dictate and control most of the US armed forces and senate are extremely keen to get into Syria, all in the name of profits cleverly disguised and promoted as 'National Security'...
