This is very scary, I just saw this Barbara Walter's tv interview, and man is this guy out of touch with reality?? Or are his army forces going hog wild out of control?? Or is he behind all of this mess?? Too many unanswered questions!

Assad is playing semantics just because it's another relative who is actually playing the role of enforcer.
And even if Assad didn't "technically" order the crackdown, they should ask why he doesn't or can't stop it, when he's the leader. By not stopping it, he's still complicit - doesn't matter if he didn't "technically" order it.
