Bottom Line... every country probably has issues about products produced within its own borders too, but using Chinese materials or importing Chinese goods warrants EXTREME caution...
The "good image" China that the CCP was hoping for, especially with the olympics and all, ... pffffftttt.....

It is widely reported that melamine is found in China, now i do not understand what sense does it make to name the cities, territories of China, like Taiwan, Hongkong...? btw, when reporting on Macau?

Sickening. Too many of these instances have been occuring. I just read an article that said even White Rabbit Creamy Candy was found to be contaminated with the stuff, in California and in four Connecticut stores. According to the article, this has been blamed for four children's deaths and thousands of kidney ailments.

To me, it is scary, but I'm sure there is one poster out there ( I forgot his handle name ) that will argue not to panic and act like "chicken littles", since we are more likely to get struck by lightning than killed by contaminated food. Yeah, right.

Nestle milk food sales may be going down and other foods may enjoy sales boost.
