While I personally think its sick, it is something that even Native Americans and other groups of people have done. This is probably an old tradition in that part of Africa Besides, how many people today have necklaces and tatoos of skulls?

Skip, I think its because its the year 2009 and humanity as a whole is supposed to be civilised instead of relying on methods that were popular before the telephone, internet, global economy were made... Also I think you missed the point the necklaces and tattoos are not made with REAL HUMAN SKULLS.

This pretty much ranks in the medieval thinking of Islamic extremist public beheadings, leaving dead people stringed up in public, putting peoples decapited heads on pikes etc. Its gruesome and completely unecessary.

These types of "scare tactics" can have one of two effects, it can scare you or it can cause you to get really really PO'ed. Most intelligent people would get PO'ed and try and take the freak out.
