Thai coup leader: Don't protest, it's no use

The power of the ballot box mob is not "economic" only political, in that the red shirts will tax the productive parts of society to pay for the votes of the losers. Not just a Thai problem, but they don't have enough wealth to keep up the game for as long as western socialist states. The same end game may come for the welfare states around the globe.

Don't criticise , don't protest-let the army fix the the problem! That is right -it is called martial law. For those who think it might be cool to go to Thailand under martial law , I would say think again! Under a coup it may be the right of any insurer to invalidate any issued travel insurance. With some of the most dangerous driving in Asia any accidents would leave the victims paying their own repatriation costs and hospital bills!

Seems like the only logical situation of that mess that has been going on in Thailand for a while now also looks like in many countries, army holds quite a neutral position and ran by cool headed people. ( Egypt as example )

Resistance is futile? Where have I heard that before.

All dictators say the same thing. This man is treading a thin line if at all. One group can not run the entire government.
