I sure hope the parents never saw the murder scene pictures that i just saw. WARNING: they are CSI pics not for the public, but on the net anyway. Seems these two are not guilty from the information here. Just horrible.

The rumour mill in Thailand says these two were framed as convenient suspects because the real perps (which are known to the police) are well-connected and untouchable.

I dont know one way or the other, but it would not be unusual in that part of the world.

2 crimes committed here. 1st the murder of the 2 tourists and 2nd that of these two "guilty" defendants.

Investigators faced a variety of criticism, starting with their failure to secure the crime scene, and then for releasing several names and pictures of suspects who turned out to be innocent.

These two men were arrested and released them as didn't match DNA by Police and then they were arrested again later. The independent top Forensic expert in Thai said DNA didn't come from these two men. Also police has already destroyed other DNA samples from crime sense when defense team asked Police. I don't know whether these two men have committed crime or not but Thai Police handling this case was very low standard and only trying to find scapegoat instead of actual committed criminals. These two men will be acquitted if they were tried in Australia or US.

The article is a little flimsy on content. According to other reports, the prosecution presented evidence that one of the accused's DNA was identified in semen found in the dead woman. I know that's not enough to presume guilt, but it seems the judges were in possession of evidence that is not being reported here.

...and then failed to turn over the samples to the deference for independent testing. Hmmm.
