Lifting the country from chaos is different than lifting the emergency, lot of work ahead.

It's outstanding.
Not over yet, but we've watched bright minds and negotiations, not war, defuse a situation.
Like said above, lot of work ahead, but it's peaceful work. < :-)

Thailand is okay country, may be some political woes sometimes.
Thailand is most okay in agro business, because the country is one of few asian nations, which feed other nations in big ways .
Unlike many asian nations who are not importers on food from US/Canada/south america, thailand net exporter of food .
If thailand does not export rice/food,some nations will suffer food woes.
In WW2, many asian nations had people die from lack of rice from thailand/burma because warships had blocked shipping to indian ports.

The real election will bring new violence once again between Thaksin supporters and the rest. Did I read somewhere that the caretaker PM is actually Thaksin's brother in law? http://theendisalwaysnear.blogspot.com/2008/09/one-night-in-bangkok.html
