This doesn't seem like it will be the solution to that country's problems. Being a relative of a disposed PM should be warning enough that it will not solve the civil unrest. I hope they get things sorted out before my next vacation to Thailand.
I doubt the political system will be fixed anytime soon in Thailand but Thaksin's hand will play some part in whatever it is.

Apparently the food is good at the demonstrations, brought by BMWs and Mercs to the demonstrators to make sure they have less incentive to leave.
