I'm sure we all got friends running to safety.

    Pray for safe travel.

Pray for safety and shelter. < :-)

Nope, I haven't got any friends running for shelter. and seems clear that praying for this not to wreak any damage isn't going to work.

What the heck is going on in the Gulf Region? Not only is it devastating people's lives, but major disruption in energy supplies. I hope Ike is nothing like Katrina, but it is huge. Hopefully, the authorities has the situation well in hand.

I wonder how much GWBush will be responsible for after this one. I'm counting on the JT crowd to tell us.

I wish Texas luck on this. I also give them my hope for the best result possible. Although I am an Agnostic and I don't pray I really appreciate hearing someone like adaydream ask for others prayers and I appreciate his prayers for the Texans in harms way.

    bushlover

I just hope Bush acts in a responsible manner if this turns out to be a disaster. My blame will be reserved for how he carries out his duties as president when disasters occur.

Yeah, I wish them luck too....it looks like a bad one.

Too many people have ignored the warnings to leave their homes.
