their forces killed the terror group’s two top figures in this country

I've seen this headline so many times that I wonder, how many leaders can they possibly have? Thousands? And their population is how many?

They have much less then the USA has bullets, and their numbers are infinitesimal compared to the good Iraqi people trying to live their lives in peace and shop in the market.

Two 'terrorists', er, 'fighters', er... common murderers have been taken out of the equation. Hate to say it, but this has to be a good thing.

Of course you have seen this headline many times, because employment with this organization tends to be terminal.

Think every member of that group is a leader hence the same ol' headline being regurgitated. But it is a positive.

Militants? Insurgents? Separatists? Whatever happened to the good old words 'Muslim terrorists'? But this would be demonizing a demon, therefore politically incorrect and hurting the feelings of millions. All the same, good riddance - only that is is like a Hydra: three new heads grow in place of the one removed. We have to find a better solution.
