Good. But... since all it needed was the cooperation of the Serbian authorities, perhaps someone might ask them why they have effectively been protecting him for 13 years... In the end, you feel they've done this because the benefits of doing so have finally outweighed the nationalist sentiment of those who think brutally murdering 7,500 people just because of their non-Serbian ethnicity is somehow OK.
I hope Karadzic rots in jail forever - and Mladic knows that he's next. A step forward for civilisation, I think
It is clear that the current government wants this black spot off their record. At any time they could have brought this guy in, he has been spotted often and it was widely believed that the government did not want to catch him. Political winds must be changing as the region looks to be more integrated with the EU. So stains need to be cleaned up now.
At least justice will come for these fascist leaders at last.
This is some good news indeed. Like Richard Holbrooke said, "a major, major thug has been removed from the public scene". I am so pleased they got him alive, so he'll have some time to think about what he did.
Rotting in prison won't change his feeling of deep satisfaction after murdering thousands of people in Bosnia. He will always have his smirk on his face while thinking:"You idiots, you think you can hurt me, haha, i have slaughtered thousands already and nothing can bring those people back."
This guy is sicko and should be executed. Why waste money for his, hotel like, future prison which is equipped with all luxuries that most poor people could only dream about. If there is any justice in all this he should be literally rotting in some mexican dungeon...

I'm glad this guy is caught.
I remember when he
I could not believe what he was doing and telling his troops.
All the mass killings.
Well, glad he in irons. < :-)
