Can you just imagine the sh1tstorm of of criticism and ridicule if this sort of ridiculous slip up had happened in the Bush Whitehouse?
There truly has been change..... in the the media coverage and standards to judge.

I think that this is a well planned back-fire. With a forest fire, you set fires to burn away brush and take away fuel from a main fire. In the same sense, the White House staff set this story up to end the Salahi matter once and for all. Wonderfully clever.
Now, anyone who is titillated by someone getting in to the White House can talk to some nice people from Georgia instead of media attention panderers like the Salahis.
I would estimate that the Dardens will not be getting rich, and the Salahi's 15 minutes of fame are now, finally, officially, over.

Hey, the guy is a Navy veteran. He's done his part, so he got a little bit extra.

I think they were treated to a real nice occasion and if they weren't invited, they were at least vetted and approved. It's pretty amazing the scares and surprises you come upon in the military, then to come upon this delight. Good for the Darden's and this is a sweet gesture by the Obama's towards the public. < :-)
