    If you watch the video clips, tis red sludge initially came flowing out like a flood, pushing cars out of the way, demolishing houses, all of it toxic waste in water. Absolutely tragic disaster.

    The Waterworks of Budapest takes samples 7/24 in every two hours to check the Danube's conditions, the wells at the riverbank, etc, also installed pH-metres which are being monitored. So at least the Danube is safe now, and we can take water from it safely. This really is a disaster, the people in Kolontár lost everything what they worked for. Their loss is really immensurable.
