“Perhaps it is easy for politicians to lose touch with reality when they are being paid millions of dollars to read speeches to Wall Street executives, instead of spending time with real people in real pain,” WASHINGTON — Republicans Donald Trump

Then Trump visited the families from the Trump University fraud.

Why not? If Obama can help a certified crook, then Trump can team up with Christie. Whatever works.

Then Trump visited the families from the Trump University fraud.

So does that mean you got a visit? Or did you dropout.

Donald Trump loves to tout his Wharton business school credentials, however the affection may be a one-way street. As of early Monday, more than 2,000 students, alumni, and faculty of the business school have signed onto an open letter published online denouncing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee and his “discriminatory statements.” - source: "Trump Not Getting Much Love From Wharton Campus"

Trump's shallow racism has drug the club of prejudice for twelve long months. Trump, on the hook for fraud, is claiming "He's the New Shareef in Town"! The art of the fraud. . .

“The disconnect in America is deep. There are two Americas: the ruling class, and the groups it favors, and then everyone else,” said Trump.

Like Trump knows the Truth? Shareef don't like it . . .

The trump university is currently UNDER investigation. At the moment it's speculation on weather any fraud has taken place.

What is a campaign accomplishment for Trump is Hillary hasoutspent the man 10/1 And they are neck and neck. Trump can use that in the fed efficiency. That and the Clinton proven lies.

Her is a latest rumor. Christie habeentried to become VP candidate, Also Gingrich, But Trump found General Fynn whoooohas same ideology as Trump on stopping birth control. He has been stop birth control promoter of Democratic Party for many years.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

What Mr. Trump and Gov. Christie have in common is the theatrics of a campaign -- the importance of appearances, of swaying crowds through psychology. Both men tried to portray themselves as tough, law and order types.... who routinely dabble in corruption. Once people figure out the con, they lose interest. It's already over in New Jersey for Gov. Christie, and it will be over for Mr. Trump soon enough.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

"It's already over in New Jersey for Gov. Christie" - comments - Did Christie answer for 'Bridge -gate'? (GWB closure)

"and it will be over for Mr. Trump soon enough." - comments - Actually, 120 days. The RNC Convention? Total disaster.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

At a rally in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, and Christie, the tough-talking New Jersey governor, seized on the Dallas police shootings as examples of why Americans need a “law and order” candidate like Trump.

Unless "law and order" can put back together all of the broken one parent families and bring more jobs, short of locking up more people, the deterioration of American society and culture will continue apace.

These two guys represent America. Obese!

Don't forget Hillary - she doesn't miss many meals.

Toshiko, birth control is basic prevention. Abortion as birth control is entirely different. If ever anyone with an ounce of empathy could abort late term for any reason other than the health of the fetus or the mother is beyond me. Those women who choose late term need to see the result of their decision to deter the practice.

Christie has more charachter than Hillary does accomplishments. Unless you consider the evasion of prosecution as an accomplishment.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Hee hee: Somebody's been writing speeches for Donald again. One can always tell by the correct syntax; plus, in this case, his and Chris' statements were coordinated. Maybe next they'll wear matching ties.

It's appropriate Donald has ripped off a slogan from Nixon - the irony of Nixon resigning for breaking the law aside, Nixon's use of the phrase was a clear dog whistle in the turbulent civil rights movement of the late '60s. Dog whistle Donald.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

"Both Gingrich and Christie have been advisers for Trump behind the scenes." - article

Both "advisers" are rife with histories that would make Carl Rove shriek with glee.

Trump spent the next two weeks, at least, trying to get out from under the Curiel controversy — a timeline extended by his unwillingness to simply apologize and move on. (Sound familiar?)

This isn’t the campaign’s fault. The campaign — from manager Paul Manafort on down — is clearly telling Trump the right things to do. He just isn’t willing to do them. The blame is his. Pure and simple.

Donald J. Trump has already lost.

The American People better tune their game. The GOP-tea has a lot to answer for.

The trump university is currently UNDER investigation. At the moment it's speculation on weather any fraud has taken place.

Haha! Republicans have been calling Hillary a criminal, guilty of fraud and more for Benghazi and the email incidents for years now, even though the investigations just concluded and found her not guilty of anything. Even then, Republicans are still calling her a criminal, and trying to open more investigation.

But when it's Don the Con? "It's still speculation as to whether he did anything wrong".

Blatant double standard.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

"I do like unification of the Republican Party.”

So would I. Maybe they would actually produce policy instead of sabotaging each other.

But they're not going to rally around you as long as you keep acting like a bigot. You can't have it both ways. Sure, you'd like unification, but are you willing to drop the #WhitePower tweets in order to get it? If not, then what's the point of saying how much you like the thought of unity?

You're toxic, and as long as you're toxic there will be opposition to you in the GOP.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The trump university is currently UNDER investigation.

And Clinton's investigation if FINISHED, and she was cleared of any criminal charges. She might've been shown to have lied, but Trump has many proven lies under his belt as well.

At the moment it's speculation on weather any fraud has taken place.

Please... The school was a sham, and everyone except the suckers who enrolled know it. Being a weasel, Trump may still get off on technicalities, but that doesn't change the fact that the school's sole purpose was to sucker gullible morons (i.e., Trump fans) out of their money.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Only the FBI email investigation is closed...one of them anyway. Another perjury request was just submitted by Congress today. She is also close to being forced to testify in the Judicial Watch civil case.

A conservative watchdog group on Friday asked a federal court to interview Hillary Clinton under oath about her email setup, the second such request.

Judicial Watch told the court that seven aides it has already interviewed did not satisfy its questions about the State Department’s system for complying with requests under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Now, Clinton herself would need to be deposed to discuss the private email setup she used while secretary of State and whether it skirted transparency laws, the group claimed.

This sounds partisan? 'Trump may still get off on technicalities' but, actually, the charges are quite more specific than just; 'your name was used'?

Hillary email investigations - aka Benghazi pt. II

After wasting years and millions on Benghazi investigations, the morons are now going to do the same on emails. Just goes to show you that after a certain point, some people are just too stupid to learn from their mistakes.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Bring on the mistakes and all attendant publicity if it blocks Hillary from being elected. Polls are already showing a strong majority of Americans believe she should have been indicted last week.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

why Americans need a “law and order” candidate like Trump.

So Trump is now a "law and order" candidate?! BWAH-HA-Ha-ha-ha!! It just never stops, the myriad ways in which Trump and his campaign staff can twist, turn, and contort to be whatever will get them fast votes, no matter how ridiculously untrue their portrayal actually is.

Trump isn't a law and order candidate.

He isn't a constitution candidate.

He isn't a LGBT candidate.

He's not even a GOP candidate.

He's in this for Trump, an Trump alone.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

There are politicians who stand for things. They have spent a lifetime honing a social philosophy, then welding to it well-crafted policies that they hope will ensure its realization, and finally creating a strategy to increase likelihood that these policies will be enacted.

Then there's Trump, who spouts erratic nonsense and jumps on whatever bandwagon happens to be passing by. "Law and order" - it is a slogan bereft of any sort of philosophical or legislative weight. He might have as well simply shouted, "Squirrel!"

Some genius realized how closely Trump's mind-grinding matches the narcissistic Calvin from "Calvin and Hobbes" and did the world a great benefit by simply replacing Calivin's head with Trump's. Have a look for a deep laugh. https://imgur.com/gallery/nw9TX

No, polls are showing that they are happy the investigations are over, and that the Republicans have wasted too much time and money on pointless investigations.

Making Christie VP candidate would be a fatal mistake for Trump IMO. Anyway it doesn't matter too much as he's already lost

4 ( +5 / -1 )

@Lizz,

You mean this poll? Watch the interview in the link, because I think the guy explains the situation pretty well.

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/07/11/politics/hillary-clinton-fbi-charges-poll/index.html

From the article:

Republicans were most likely to say the non-indictment would affect their vote in the presidential election -- 47% say it makes them less likely to support Clinton, compared to 10% of Democrats.

How could a NON-INDICTMENT make you LESS LIKELY to support her? Are they saying they'd like her more if she WAS indicted? Some people just plain don't like her and nothing would change their mind. Do you really want to waste everyone's time and taxes on 8, 9, 10 investigations like Benghazi?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

@MarhG I only wrote rumor by Trump supporter. They are proud they got Flynn. They couldn't care less of definition.

She wasn't cleared, she just wasn't charged. As for Trump, he's not under FBI investigation, Trump may be a loudmouth, no secret and everyone knows it, but Hillary is an FBI fact based, certified LIAR.

Being a weasel, Trump may still get off on technicalities, but that doesn't change the fact that the school's sole purpose was to sucker gullible morons (i.e., Trump fans) out of their money.

If Trump is a weasel, then Hillary speaks with a forked tongue.

Not being charged essentially means she was cleared of criminal charges. Bolded because that's what matters.

Trump may be a loudmouth, no secret and everyone knows it, but Hillary is an FBI fact based, certified LIAR.

It doesn't take an FBI investigation to prove that Trump has lied on numerous occasions. They're both liars, so if you want to attack Hillary, attack her on her corporate ties... Oh wait, conservatives worse on that issue. I guess the liar thing is all you got...

And paying for a 100K education and having a slim chance in today's economy getting a job, that's not a scam?

It's dishonest to compare the two and you know it. Fibber ;p

bass: And paying for a 100K education and having a slim chance in today's economy getting a job, that's not a scam?

Why would that be your response? Surely you don't support what Trump did with his "Trump University." Why not just say that and then move on?

Much of the debate about security in the presidential campaign has been about threats abroad.

These are real. As long as the US continues to invade and occupy sovereign nations because they have resources needed by US corporations, there will be threats. The US needs to stop trying to make the world safe for its resource extractors and exploiters and find its own energy and materials alternatives.

The shooting deaths of five Dallas police officers last week and violence in other cities have shifted the debate back home for now.

The debate should be at home and the discussions need to include first and foremost finding ways to eliminate institutional racism. White nationalists need to stop blaming social problems on non-whites and admit their roles in the ongoing fracturing of US society. The debate needs to include a wide range of issues including civilians owning assault weapons and the state using Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems, both at home and abroad.

Already crackpot law and order ideas are being proposed by the loony fringe like establishing a national police force. Europe in the 1930’s? Others are saying take all weapons from the state and only allow individuals to arm themselves. Desperate times call for well thought out and reasonable alternatives that consider the full range of problems the US has always had, not ideas that will make the problems even worse.

Why not? If Obama can help a certified crook...

A what? A certified crook? What even is that? Is it you trying to make up impressive-sounding stuff because as much as you would love to, you can't say she's been tried or convicted of anything?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Trump will have Hillary in chains helping to build the new wall.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Not being charged essentially means she was cleared of criminal charges. Bolded because that's what matters.

For her supporters, I agree, but for the general public, it's bad news for her 57% think she's totally dishonest, now I know Democrats are bad at math, but politically speaking, it's not good. As I said before, this is good news for Trump.

It doesn't take an FBI investigation to prove that Trump has lied on numerous occasions.

No, but when you have the FBI investigate you on crimes, that means, the crime was criminal in nature, she wasn't being investigated by the local police. That's like saying and comparing Billiard to bowling.

They're both liars, so if you want to attack Hillary, attack her on her corporate ties... Oh wait, conservatives worse on that issue. I guess the liar thing is all you got..

No, now we have the certified word of the FBI, therefore, Hillary can't say some BS excuse, I never....she did. Comey took a dive, I understand, he didn't want to sway the election, bu at least, he said, look, this woman is a fraud and a liar, now it's up to you, the voters, do you want something like that governing the country or not.

Why would that be your response? Surely you don't support what Trump did with his "Trump University." Why not just say that and then move on?

I could care less. If you libs think that he's going to start wearing zebra stripes, you guys are so sadly mistaken.

A what? A certified crook? What even is that?

I would NEVER expect liberals to know that word in particular. LOL

Is it you trying to make up impressive-sounding stuff because as much as you would love to, you can't say she's been tried or convicted of anything?

As I said, 57% think She's a liar and untrustworthy, that's more than a Christmas package for me.

You worked out that Trump was appealing to a lunatic fringe of the US electorate before chasing Trump's clown car down the street like your Benghazi was on fire. Not great sums by your own admission.

On the subject of Mathis, I'm just trying to work out if two LOLs equal a ROFL.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Hmmmm, it doesn't matter what liberals WANT to believe, Comey laying it out and seeing her untrustworthy numbers of 57% climb, it's satisfaction enough, seriously.

I think we're more curious about the certification of 'crook' that you have stated Hillary has. Who exactly certified her as this? Are they accredited? Please, give us more information on the matter.

We're open to believing what you state, but how can we believe it when you just say it without showing any support of what you've claimed?

Just pointing out what you said. You constantly repeat this idea that Libs and Dems are bad at maths. Did you agree with Ben Carson's maths when he proposed a taxation policy for a 21st century industrialized country based on a 2,000 year-old holy book? He was your choice after all.

You can LOL all night and ROFL every day but you really do need to be a bit clearer with your responses.

You don't rack up $16 trillion in debt, 46 million on food stamps, 37% rise in unemployment benefits, 40% corporate tax rate if you are good at math.

Did you agree with Ben Carson's maths when he proposed a taxation policy for a 21st century industrialized country based on a 2,000 year-old holy book? He was your choice after all.

Strangerland, just like Obama, Clinton is cursed not only for her political views but for being "other." Many are willing to give Trump a pass on whatever his opinion-du-jour is on whatever topic simply because they deep down desire a daddy figure - necessitating that he is white and male. As popular right-wing host Tucker Carlson put it a few years ago:

It's not like Hillary is some communist or something. You know what I mean? She's no more liberal than Barack Obama. She's more conservative probably in some ways. But there's just something about her that feels castrating, overbearing, and scary.

Castrating. Some - especially males - feel threatened be females and will hurl all sorts of accusations against them - overbearing, scary, lying, conniving, shrill - but most, it comes down to castrating. Perhaps it is a bit much to ask some groups of American white males to deal with the one-two punch of America's first black, then first female president, but from the view of blacks and females, it's well past time. I'm a white male, and I find the whole notion quite liberating.

I just checked on this. The 2016 corporate tax rate is 38.9%. In 2006, when Obama was not the president, it was 39.3%, so trying to blame Obama for a 40% corporate tax rate is being simply dishonest.

Yet.

Trump's trial will commence this August. According to the New York State Attorney General, New York's prosecution is on the forty million dollar charge.

California has a Federal prosecution underway; that's the one where Trump kept repeating the Federal Judge was Mexican, he isn't.

Either way, there isn't a choice available to Trump for VP besides David Duke.

As a Holocaust Denier, Duke has already stated voting for anyone except Trump betrays one's heritage.

White heritage or Holocaust Denier heritage wasn't made clear, likely both, either way, Trump refused to condemn David Duke, KKK Grand Wizard.

What Vice President is going to stand next to Trump at Cleveland? Trump's got more baggage, and nutty comments, than his other supporter, Rush Limbaugh.

Then I'm glad you find yourself so amusing. But there's really not much point in a... well, let's call it a joke for want of a better word, that only you get.

Just saw this:

“We need a president who once again will put law and order at the top of the priority of the presidency of this country,” Christie said. “Our police officers ... need to understand that the president of the United States and his administration will give them the benefit of the doubt, not always believe that what they have done is somehow wrong.”

Hrm. Is giving criminal suspects the benefit of the doubt standard police procedure? Sounds like a good way to let a country go to the dogs if you ask me.

It probably has something to do with GOP supporters claiming they know more about the law than the director of the FBI.>?

No, it's just the people do know that as well as the men that tried to save Stevens and everyone else at Benghazi as well as the parents of the people that died that Hillary is a liar, they go by that and NOT what the Comey says. But when Comey outlines that Hillary is an untrustworthy lying sack of potatoes it just reinforces the publics perceptions of what everyone pretty much already knew. Again, her base will always be loyal, just as Trump's base will be loyal, everyone is saying, "come on, seriously."

Because... ah, forget it. I can see that trying to explain anything to you is a waste of time.

I don't think it was an explanation.

Then I'm glad you find yourself so amusing.

Thanks you!

But there's really not much point in a... well, let's call it a joke for want of a better word, that only you get.

One thing I have found through the years and that is liberals are not good when it come to humor. When Obama or Hillary or any of these guys try to be funny, it's like, please just stick to straight politics.
