She was where Secret Service prohibited and he was just doing his job, PA explained. It showed video scenes in detail over and over. The girl was too close to Trump.
Black Sabbath
TV personality and haberdasher Trump thus manages to dodge a fairly big black eye. Kinda.
The court of public opinion is not a court of law, and it's unlikely that women voters will soon forget the widely-circulated footage of Lewandowski grabbing Michelle Fields, regardless of whether or not it was prosecutable.

Also likely to be remembered, Trump's attack on the woman assualted by his employee which resulted in the arrest and court appearance.
"the facts support the allegation that Mr. Lewandowski did grab Ms. Fields’ arm against her will" - that's the definition of assualt.

Well, anyone with half of brain could see that this was a lost ruse case from the beginning. Liberals tried to make it seem as if Lewandowski beat the woman and the video shows nothing more than a push, a push that so many of us, including myself have been subjected to a dozen times. To file an assault charge is one thing, but to prove that that little push was deliberate is the key and NO jury would ever look at this case, it would get laughed out of court. Lewandowski may be Rahm Emanuel's cousin, but that the guy is an intentional basher, at least in this case according to the video is laughable at best.

This is helping Trump. Now poll shows Trump will be the toughest GOP candidate to face Clinton. Another rumor. Rubio will join Cruz as his VP candidate Sanders is still hanging but all GOP guessing is Clinton.
CrazyJoe
Can you imagine what it would be like in a place like New York City if this ridiculous charge stuck? Everyone would be charging each-other with battery and suing for damages.
nath
Can someone post a link to this? The videos I watched at the time didn't look too harsh to me.

Trump and Lewandowski have been found guilty by the MSM and here a few weeks ago! What has changed since? Indesputable truth. Rumors, lies and exaggerations prevailed for weeks until the truth.

In a nutshell the lawyers couldn't find photos of her bruises to use as evidence that were consistent with the time and place of the incident.

I just wanna see how AI translates "battery charges,"
MrBum
I agree that the pull/push wasn't barely anything at all, but you know the reporter who initially made the assault claim is from Breitbart News. Why do you have to blame liberals for everything? You'd have a bit more credibility if you placed blame where it belongs every once in a while.
Texas A&M Aggie
I'm all U.S. leftists on this on. The crime committed on this poor woman deserves the death penalty and nothing less. . . .
MarkG
She was from Breitbart, she also quit Breitbart. She is not well known as a reporter though she is well known. Was her motivation for exposure that backfired? Is she an anti Trump? She certainly was not abused in any way other than she being press was pulled away from a zone she should not have been.
Daniel Neagari
Yeah!!! Trump for president... and the End days will be just around the corner.
Let us keep supporting the great and smart guy Trump is.
MarkG
Trump is a smart guy. Don't let the main stream media influence their desires on you. He deserves credit for standing by Lewandowski. Something I don't think Hillary would have done if it were her in the same situation.

This was all just a waste of time that got turned into a media sensation. He shouldn't have grabbed her like that but what happened in the video just didn't look like that big of a deal to me. It certainly wasn't worth the time I had to endure watching the coverage of it.
It also took time away from covering that sleazeball, Cruz. My guess is he's planning to craft some kind of bullshit image to sell to the general population.
And finally, this was about a conservative nutball vs another conservative nutball. Other reporters at Breitbart.com actually resigned in protest over how the company handled it. We were just sitting back and enjoying the movie, as usual.
oyatoi
Mission accomplished! Trump's momentum was arrested! That's what the whole exercise was about. Cui Bono.

Michelle Fields needs to be prosecuted over her assault and on Secret Service agents and Mr Trump. You are not allowed to touch a Secret Service agent while they are protecting a candidate. These "reporters" that keep getting into people faces forcefully need to be stopped.
Then you have Ms Fields always changing her story and outright fraudulent legal claims and testimony in this case. Then you have a media that continually employs/emits a fraudulent story hoping it will stick even with all the video and audio proof that Ms Fields is caught in one big lie.
-As a positive it is a good propaganda fill in (funny) topic for Trump and he stood by his employee to the end. The media specifically after this should really apologize, but do people think a Megan Kelly would ever apologize to Trump.
Madverts
Trump's ridiculous campaign peaked weeks ago. The only entertainment left is the Shot or Poisoned convention, before the final Lemming Day climax.
Heh, as one of my favourite, "independent", "undecided" troll used to say:
"Enjoy the twilight"

Even if she had just been verbally warned by Secret Service to back off while continuing to charge him that is an offense in itself. Trump was actually taking the question seriously and being the most civil of any of them.

Hmmm...as they say, be careful for what you wish. You just don't know what will happen. That includes if Trump implodes or Hillary will wear orange pant suits and Cruz and Kasich lose everything.
toshiko
Last night, GOP had gala in NY and televised. Three candidates each spoke. Trump was elegant and. Funny. Often audience clapped Next Kasich and he talked his political resume how Ohio became the best industrial state in USA. Audience often clapped. Next Cruz. After he said he wikkclose IRS, some people began walking and some had something to mike noise of bagging, Then screen became blannnk and too loud noises. Iguessed people became hungry.
Fadamor
Trump and his peons don't DO apologies. Aronberg could have just as well asked for instantaneous interstellar travel.
toshiko
I you are accused of any crimes, never apology even you think you are guilty. Apologizing is not a procedure of criminal justice procedure.

= Video showing Secret Service telling Michelle Fields to stay behind the line. Originally she moved to an appropriate position then moved back. Going between security. Touching Mr Trump
Wolfpack
Say it isn't so! There were so many JT posters that were adamant that Lewandowski was a woman hater who was going to get the justice he so richly deserved. We all saw the video. The horrible treatment that poor Michelle Fields took at the hands of the treacherous Lewandowski. There was blood everywhere - how can he get away with this???
Saying sorry in America today is tantamount to an admission of guilt that is likely to encourage a lawsuit - not prevent one. People want to play victim and look to the courts to validate their hurt feelings (and make a quick buck). No one cares about honor and respect anymore. It may be true that an apology may possibly have soothed Ms. Fields hurt pride but that isn't real issue at all. Fields filed a lawsuit because she got her feelings hurt. I think Mr. Arnonberg has it exactly backwards. Fields should apologize for filing a frivolous lawsuit which only served to delay justice for those who have suffered actual harm.
