Well at least it's not an increasing trend.

No, it's a continuing trend. All part of the mess that Bush made and McCain supported.

Yeah right Mr. Hammond. And maybe you see a face in the moon. This is so ludicrious. We continue to sacrifice kuffar lives in pursuit of the impossible dream of an islamic democracy.

We have @people on this site, some claiming to be in the bmilitary, that say we should follow Obama's unpatriotic stance of leaving Iraq.

The people of Iraq must be protected and the enemy killed or brought to justice. These bombings show why we must stay the course whatever the cost in cash or lives. It is our patriotic duty to saty in Iraq, and keep innocents safe from the haters of freedom.

There used to be one in Iran. Any idea of what happened to it? American meddling, that's what. --Cirroc

Careful, friend. Saying Iran was capable of democracy - in the 50's no less - undermines the argument us progressives must stick to:it will never take hold in Iraq.

Iran-Persia has been around for several thousands of years. Iraq was cobbled together by foreign powers less than a century ago, much like the former Yugoslavia. A separate homeland for the Kurds might well become a successful democracy, but it will no longer be Iraq.
