A foreign criminal shoots dead two foreign policemen. What to make of this? Maybe, that the U.S. Is hopelessly screwed up. Rest in peace men!

"When a policeman is murdered, it tears at the foundation of society."

But when a twelve-year-old is shot by the police in cold blood, or an unarmed man is choked to death, it's just a bit unfortunate. Nothing to see folks, move along....

“They Take 1 Of Ours…

There's a lot that could be said about that statement...........

I don't care about Michael Brown, Eric Garner, or the two police deaths. In a nation of 300 million these things are going to happen.

-18 ( +0 / -18 )

Al Sharpton and the other American race baiters have this blood on their hands.

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

Just the shooting of the day in the US that made the news. Another couple 100 more today didn't make the news.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

Uh wait, this here shooting was done by a criminally minded man who first attempted to murder his ex-gf (supposedly still alive) took the time to drive all the way to NY and shoot both an Asian and Latino American police officer. Dumb-arse.

I'm sorry but I don't have any issues with the police in my neighborhood. I've been stopped by a black officer before and was quite annoyed, but aside from that they've stopped plenty of other idiots that are actually out there breaking the law. My neighborhood had quite the high crime rate about 22 years ago and it got a lot better. It's taking a dip again with the legalization of recreation MJ though as too many out of state idiots are moving here now and don't know the laws and community around here.

Al Sharpton and the other American race baiters have this blood on their hands.

This was a despicable act that no one of any political affiliation or creed condones. Whether the killer did indeed act in retaliation against the heavy-handed police behavior is yet unknown (the fact that he shot himself indicates that he was crazy - and crazy people kill with guns daily in America).

Fallen heroes.

That was a very insensitive and asinine thing to say, these two men were on patrol sitting in their cars protecting the community and this SOB comes up and shoots them in the head. What an insane and cowardly act!

Al Sharpton and the other American race baiters have this blood on their hands.

No doubt. Of course they do, they riled the people up DeBlasio threw the cops under the bus instead of bringing the community together, him and Sharpton were largely responsible for adding fuel to the flame and DeBlasio like Obama is unfit IMHO to serve the community in ANY capacity! His over the top liberal politics are going to get more people on both sides to get killed, just a matter of time!

I do so enjoy your prose, Bass; with W out of office, and as I do not visit many rightwing sites, both what you say and how you say it keeps me up to date. Pray tell: "both sides" - which would those be?

"Middle name Abdullah"

Yes, his middle name is Abdullah. I noticed that too, plus a few other snippets we're not supposed to mention.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

And will Obama and Holder publicly condemn this as a hateful race executions?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

@Mark

The guy wanted to kill cops. Race has absolutely nothing to do with this case. You're an intelligent bloke; I suspect you know that already.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Bystanders clapping, laughing at the scene, cops turning their backs on the mayor at his press conference. Another case was narrowly avoided early Sunday outside a Bronx housing project when a gunman’s weapon jammed. Clearly inflammatory feelings are running high and deep and cannot be written off as fluke episodes of Islamic extremism or police/race hate crimes.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

It was black on random officers as a result of the protests supported by the president.

One of the protest chants was..."What do we want? Dead cops" "When do we want it? Now". What leader(s) condemned that? Who even wants that? Street thugs? Of course they hate cops, police interfere with their lives.

And to clarify Garner did not die in a chokehold. He was taken to the ground in a chokehold. His death was due to several contributing factors. He was not choked to death as many believe.

Garner, an unarmed father of six, died after police held him in a chokehold while he was being arrested for selling illegal cigarettes in New York in July.

@lucabrasi

The guy wanted to kill cops. Race has absolutely nothing to do with this case. You're an intelligent bloke; I suspect you know that already.

Why did he want to kill cops? Because the media and Progressives have been on an PR blitz declaring the NYPD and all other police in America are racists. President Obama, Eric Holder, and Al Sharpton have been ginning up the race angle to rally the Left and minorities to the Democrat party to win elections and to gain support for the policy goals of the party. You are a seemingly intelligent bloke certainly you know that already.

There is no doubt in my mind that the killer assumed that he was killing two random white cops. He didn't need to look too closely at who he killed because any two racist cops would do from his perspective.

Obama has make Sharpton a close advisor. Sharpton has participated in similar racially inflammatory incidents in which innocent citizens were killed due to his inflammatory racial incitement.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

And once again we have people claiming that the problem isn't racism, but rather people pointing out that it exists.

Bit of a logic failure there.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Racism absolutely exists. Feminism absolutely exists. Numerous biases exist. Always have and always will. It's not about ignoring the facts or pretending they don't. It's about living with them an minimalizing the differences in humanity. We all separate ourselves into categories. How many overweight and homely looking girls are serving in Hooters? I am a gaijin in Japan, am I watched more in retail stores with theft prevention personnel?

We are all humans living on Earth is the bottom line. Problem is most of us like different cultures and not all cultures fit together ideally. All nations are being diluted and at some point we will not have cultural differences.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

My thoughts are with their family and friends.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Garner, an unarmed father of six, died after police held him in a chokehold while he was being arrested for selling illegal cigarettes in New York in July.

Eric Garner did not die from strangulation, in spite of what you hear from the race-baiters and news outlets. According to the medical report, Garner died from cardiac arrest (a heart attack) during the ambulance ride to the hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 350lb Eric Garner had a history of asthma, diabetes, and obesity. Given his poor health, it's surprising that Garner would make the choice to resist a lawful arrest.

Mislead by the misinformation constantly being fed the public, some psychopath from Baltimore, MD shoots his GF, and then drives 180 miles to NYC in order to murder the first two policemen he could. Brinsley then committed suicide. As far as I'm concerned, Brinsley should have ended his own life in Baltimore, before he chose to shoot his GF.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

This was a despicable act that no one of any political affiliation or creed condones.

Problem is, wherever Sharpton goes, trouble is ALWAYS following him, ALWAYS, he stirs the pot, demands Justice for people and injects himself into controversial situations when he should just keep his butt and his opinions to himself or at least take an objective viewpoint, but to prove what a Charlatan he is, let's see how long he will rally people tol protest killer thugs that do this kind of senseless act and the same goes for DeBlasio. Even Bloomberg with a lot of his nutty semi-libertarian politics wasn't THAT bad in comparison to this Obamaisque far, far left loon.

Whether the killer did indeed act in retaliation against the heavy-handed police behavior is yet unknown (the fact that he shot himself indicates that he was crazy - and crazy people kill with guns daily in America).

He was crazy, he planned this, had a grudge and was on a mission. As far as heavy handed, when you are dealing the likes of a Brinsley that sadly a lot cops do and I have been a witness on numerous occasions, I think they should be very heavy handed. Not all crazy people with guns are crazy, but you do have people like Sharpton with big mouths that are crazier and in the long run create more havoc in society and these are the real thugs we need to be protected from.

I do so enjoy your prose, Bass; with W out of office, and as I do not visit many rightwing sites, both what you say and how you say it keeps me up to date. Pray tell: "both sides" - which would those be?

That's the problem, you are viewing everything from a hard left partisan slant instead of a middle or center approach to political and social issues

Two New York policemen shot dead

As PBA President Patrick Lynch was correct when he said that Mayor de Blasio and protesters who called for cops to be killed have blood on their hands.

I feel sorry for the people of New York because after this the police will be watching their backs rather than patrolling the streets. The Left wants anarchy and that is exactly what the left will get with Mayor de Blasio running New York.

Just feel sorry for the folks who will suffer because of Mayor de Blasio extreme Leftist agenda.

arrestpaulDec. 22, 2014 - 04:16AM JST Eric Garner did not die from strangulation, in spite of what you hear from the race-baiters and news outlets. According to the medical report,

Correct and if he had been tasered he would most likely of had a heart attack and died anyways.

The man was a known criminal with ties to organized crime and that is why the cops were always keeping an eye on him. If he had a job and not been selling untaxed cigarettes he would still be alive.

But, now he has become a martyr for the left and made out to have been a saint who never did anything wrong. Typical Leftist bunk and the Leftist media is helping to promote that lie!

The Left wants anarchy

What a ridiculous statement.

What a ridiculous statement.

Ok. more like, the left believe in anarchy. It fits their typical narrative.

Ok. more like, the left believe in anarchy. It fits their typical narrative.

As equally a ridiculous statement.

Considering the right is constantly preaching removal of regulation against the left's wanting to increase regulation, the idea that the left would rather scrap government altogether is frankly about as ridiculous as it gets.

StrangerlandDec. 22, 2014 - 09:30AM JST The Left wants anarchy What a ridiculous statement.

Love the way that you try and use single line posts to try and discredit someone's post. You don't, let me repeat myself, you never provide a single shred of proof to back up what you are claiming.

And with that, I would like to ask you to provide with just a tiny bit of proof to back up what I am saying. I am only going to provide a tiny bit because I will wait for you to come and provide your proof that the Left doesn't want anarchy. When you bring your so called proof I will counter yours with more. :)

First let's start by introducing you to some names. First to come up is Gregory Lee Johnson a known member of the Leftist revolutionary movements whose goal is to overthrow the US government by any means necessary.

Won't even go into what they are doing in New York or what Black Bloc anarchist are doing either. Will wait for your reply.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Mr. Noidall - Furthermore, maybe he wouldn't have died if the racist cops and paramedics would've performed cpr on him when it was clear that he was unresponsive. But no, they just fumbled through his pockets. Look at the video again. Gardner was murdered.

FYI - You do NOT perform CPR on anyone who has a pulse and/or still breathing. Garner had a pulse and was still breathing.

I've seen the videos. Garner wouldn't have died if Garner hadn't made the very bad choice to resist a lawful arrest. Maybe Garner should just have put his hands up? He certainly would have lived longer.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Considering the right is constantly preaching removal of regulation against the left's wanting to increase regulation, the idea that the left would rather scrap government altogether is frankly about as ridiculous as it gets.

Hmmm, really? That's not how the voters felt or need I remind you a visual map of the deep soaked red US. Not getting and understanding that is ridiculous.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Love the way that you try and use single line posts to try and discredit someone's post.

I'm just pointing out the complete and absolute stupidity of the statement. The statement discredits itself, and anyone with half a brain already knows that. Anyone too stupid to realize that isn't worth wasting the time it would take to explain any better.

I will wait for you to come and provide your proof that the Left doesn't want anarchy.

I'm the left. The idea of anarchy repels me.

There's your proof.

That's not how the voters felt or need I remind you a visual map of the deep soaked red US. Not getting and understanding that is ridiculous.

What? You quoted my post, but your reply didn't address or even rebuke anything I said, it's almost as if you pulled a random quote, and then made a random post. I'm not sure if it's a reading incomprehension problem on your part, or a malicious intent to try to look like you are responding to something that you don't have a response to.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Considering the right is constantly preaching removal of regulation against the left's wanting to increase regulation, the idea that the left would rather scrap government altogether is frankly about as ridiculous as it gets.

The Right is against excessive regulation. Police protection of life, liberty, and property is essential. The micromanagement of people's lives and businesses are what conservatives are constantly complaining about.

The Left creates disruption to justify law enforcement reform to suit their political ends. Pursuing policies that divide citizens - especially by race - is the primary tool Democrats use to sustain political power. Promising group benefits motivates their base. Attacking the police and promising special treatment for black Americans motivates their base and helps raise money. It's crass. And it's reality.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Once again, we have someone complaining that pointing out the existence of racism is the problem, rather than the racism itself. Now that's crass. Then trying to equate that with the Left wanting anarchy? Absolutely ridiculous. As always, the Left wants fair treatment for people by society. The Right tries to use this pursuit of equality as an argument towards wanting anarchy. Yeah, right. As I said, absolutely ridiculous.

WilliB: "Al Sharpton and the other American race baiters have this blood on their hands."

You cannot seriously argue that unless you are willing to turn around and say these deaths are the direct result of the officers murdering unarmed black people and the blood is on THEIR hands. But I'm guessing that only works one way in your opinion. Al Sharpton and others have immediately decried this act as an outrage and a senseless one, whereas you, JoeBigs, and Bass4Funk have yet again just made up what you like for political agenda while completely ignoring the fact that what you say is hypocritical to say the least. This was the act of a single maniac and criminal -- and that was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt when he tried to murder his girlfriend (who was not a white police officer... nor were the two men shot and killed, for that matter), and that's all. But you guys always do this. He killed a white -- oops, and ASIAN and HISPANIC police officer? It's the "left's" fault! If an officer tomorrow goes crazy and on his own kills innocent blacks on the street will you blame all white police who shoot blacks? nope, you'll blame blacks for starting it. It's the same logic with your favorite topic of Muslims. If some lunatic who happens to be Muslim kills innocents you'll blame all of Islam. If it's a white person who commits a crime, even a terrorist attack like McVeigh did, and you refuse to blame Christianity and just call it the acts of a lone madman (or even find some way to blame Islam or Democrats).

Shame on you guys for taking the deaths of two police officers for petty political means.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

smithjap:

" He killed a white -- oops, and ASIAN and HISPANIC police officer? "

And you know that how? Not from this article headline or any other... you had to look at pictures to get this. Fact is, if the media had reported this the same way as they report other stories, the screaming article headline would have been: "Black man murders a hispanic and a white person who were eating their lunch".

But no, the race-baiting press saves that inflammatory spin for one particular constellation, and so does the interest of the professional race baters in politics.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

the race-baiting press

Yep. The press is at fault for not keeping quiet about the racism like all good little white boys should.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Another crazy person in America with a gun.

That Second Amendment seems to guarantee a vigorous defense for armed lunatics now free to kill Police Officers. Any attempt to more carefully and strictly limit guns is always met with the bloody cries of the gun industry "More Guns For Safety's Sake!"

Here was a known dangerous character who tried to kill his old girlfriend with his gun and warned he would kill Police Officers; the NRA should have sent him a gun in the post, you know, because of Freedom.

Now, two Officers are dead. Looks like Freedom isn't free, it comes with bullet holes and never ending anguish.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Stranger:

" The press is at fault for not keeping quiet about the racism like all good little white boys should. "

Racism exists everywhere, but are you seriously denying that the press is creating this narrative of "white police killing blacks? Have you not noticed how the press inevitably mentions race when it fits this simplistic narrative, and completely omits race when it does not? Seriously?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

are you seriously denying that the press is creating this narrative of "white police killing blacks?

I most definitely am. White police killing black people is what has created that narrative. If it wasn't happening, there would be nothing to report on.
