Yes, I'm sure North Korea gives a flying hoot what the UN has to say.

China does. And with no Chinese support, DPRNK would collapse.

Hmmmm....sanctions. That's worked well up to now with NK has it not? Must be close to three years since they last let off a nuke.

Their one an only ally China should be pressed by the world community to stop propping up this regime.

Sanctions aren't nearly as effective as they should be due to China and likely Russia too. Had a comprehensive UN sanctions program been implemented and enforced by all powers 10 years ago, NK would have collapsed within 3 months. Unfortunately that didn't happen and now the leverage is gone seeing as they are nuclear armed and cannot be attacked

I don't know which is worse, North or South Korea. Both woundn't stop belligerence until you give in.

Save the world the time to listen to this rhetoric. The UN can talk, talk, and talk. NYC probably thank it for its contribution to the economy, but even if sanction were approved, they would not be enforced.

The Japanese must be quaking in their boots. Me too. What if the North Koreans could deliver that warhead to the US' West Coast? Think Kim Jong-un is still pissed about, "The Interview." . . . . What did he say? Releasing the film would mean an act of war? Some people are so sensitive. -Sheesh

My heart goes out to poor people in NK, but we need to be very touch to this regime by implementing UN sanctions.

Hmmm. Tough call, Tina, but if I had to choose I think I'd go with the brutal Stalinist dictatorship.

Yeah, I second that. Tough call. . . huh Triumvere. Perhaps Tina needs to go one of the "re-education camps" and learn about belligerency.
