Where is China in all of this? Aren't they responsible for North Korea?

Upfront let me state that I'm not a fan of Norh Korea's regime, and a speedy return of those who have been kidnapped is required. However, I find it interesting to note that most sources ignore the fact that the exercise carried out by the North Koreans DID actually launch a satellite. It was reported on BBC TV news that it is up there, but broken (i.e. not sending out signals). If NK were much more open about their intentions and processes, they wouldn't attract half as much vitriol - or would they?

If your neighbor was messing with nuclear weapon, I think you'd think different when the neighbor is a lunatic with a lunatic commie cousins that's infringing on another neighbor's property.

Think the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea is going to give the UN the "Hawaii happiness gesture". What more can they do to them? Question why North Korea when no sanctions have been placed on other countries? India and Pakistan both not only have 2 stage atomic weapons but the proven missiles to carry them. Pakistan being a terrorist state in all but name.

Yuri, you can not compare Asian super powers like India and Pakistan to basket cases like backwards, starving North Korea. China is the true LEADER of North Korea, China needs to start pulling on the ropes a bit more, kind of like having a barking dog, yap, yap, yap, CHINA uses North Korea to try and scare South Kore, Japan and even try and scare the USA, it is all a gimmick by CHINA, MADE IN CHINA, imho!

North Korea does not scare me. If I was from South Korea perhaps but they are no serious threat to Japan. They are overrated by a long margin.
