'risks plunging the country into chaos.”

I wonder what standard is being used to judge Iraq these days. Isn't this 'chaos' now?

You are right Jimizo san. This is not chaos.

In Baghdad, gunmen in four-wheel drive vehicles raided two buildings in a housing complex in the Zayounah neighborhood late Saturday, killing at least 33 people, including 29 women,

This is civil war, everyone knows it but it can't be called that.

I don´t know what the UN clowns mean by "political progress". Keeping the Sunni Arabs, Shiites, and Kurds united in one country requires a dictatorship like Saddam was, or constant baby-sitting with foreign intervention, like under Bush. Left alone, the three tribes will fight until they have their independent homelands, as is happening now. The idea of a united and democratic Iraq was always stupid.

Let them kill each other. Don't get involved.

There is a large influx of jihadi's from outside of Iraq that are behind the current conflict in the country.

To sound like a broken record, at least Saddam kept things in check. Not saying Saddam was a saint but nothing of the chaos seen these days.
