Good grief, if the Japanese allow their controllers to take much needed naps, why can't the Americans?

Yeah, why let science ruin a good bias? Naps are awesome. Research shows you are also helping your memory.

Good question Sarge, but we will never get an answer. The Japanese in all walks of life usually take a nap at lunch time. I do also. Really picks me up. Lots of businesses here encourage the workers to nap. It is a good decision.

This guy sounds like a real piece of work. There's a problem, the data suggests an easy to implement and effective solution, and this guy won't implement it due to his own biases. I just love how he punctuates his willful ignorance with the "Not on my watch!" bit.

Naps are great, they really refresh the mind.

Those darn scientists again, what do they know! Looks to me these US air traffic controllers need to form themselves a union. Oh right, good thing that was taken care of long ago.

Nothing makes me feel safer on a plane than knowing the air traffic controller following my flight might be asleep.

Because instead of allowing ATC unions to fight for better conditions, reagan fired them all instead.

I'll bet Taka313 didn't know that that the American public sided with Reagan on that decision.
Heh, leave it to Taka313 to blame the current problems with air traffic controllers to something President Reagan did 30 years ago.
