I do believe we are abusing the planet. I know we overfish, deforest extensively, and dump was carelessly. As for the so called "climate chain" I am not convinced it is not a natural cycle. If I could do something I would end the disposable society industrialized nations have. Personally I live a low impact life and have my whole adult life. The outdoors is my playground, my church, my life!

To protect the oceans, the deliberate dumping of raw sewage and crude oil, particularly in coastal waters, must be banned throughout the world.

Tragdey of the commons means that this is likely a losing battle until some cataclysm strikes.

It would take a cataclysm of not being able find drinkable water ever again for us to realize just how stupid we've been. I'd prefer for it to never become too late for us to wise up on this matter.
