China has done more for US military goals in the region than anyone. China has caused Japan to consider collective defense and revise their constraining constitution. China has turned the Philippines around so that decades after kicking us out they are welcoming us back in.

China has ignored Philippine diplomatic protests and Manila’s move last year to challenge Beijing’s expansive territorial claims in the South China Sea before an international arbitration tribunal. It has warned the U.S. to stay out of the Asian dispute.

Guess the U.S. and the Philippines are going to call China's bluff. Good on them.

Another step in the right direction.

Communist Chinese aggression has shown the region that they need the US to help defend them.

Communist China believes itself to be more than what it is. The adage "you never fight a land war in Asia" still stands true. But, the coming war will not be fought on land, it shall be a Naval war and as history has shown us, China is no Naval or Air powerhouse.

The Communist Chinese Naval and Air Forces force's are not ready for what shall come, it shall be a slaughter of the utmost degree. When it is said and done Xi's aggressions shall be the ruin of the nation he so loves.

But, hopefully the US expanding it's presence in the region will wake up Communist China.

Before anyone comes in the with the silly notion that Communist China owns the US because of it's public Debt let me correct that notion.

1.Communist China owns 8% 2.Japan owns 7% 3.biggest holder of the US's debt is held in US with 44%

The US will not sit back and stay out of a firefight if Communist China starts one.

So this and other recent actions in the area are akin to telling china to sit back down and shut back up, it had better listen or it will be knocked back down and shut back up roughly !

China is so far behind militarily it's almost unfair, yet they are world renowned for their atrocious greed and bad manners - therefore neighboring countries need to ready themselves to deal with the current land grab attempts of the Chinese. Best result would be for all the Chinese government fat cats to disappear.

My guess, Beijing is just testing the waters, no pun intended. Now, they get US Marines in the Philippines that will make Okinawa seem like a small way over station for the USA. Thanks China! Try and ignore diplomatic relations with the Philippines now! Pendejos!

And it didn't make the news here, but there have also been joint US-Vietnam naval exercises as well. It was search and rescue only, but that's still a feat considering...

Peace and Security start over Sea's for America, take the battle to the enemy. Preserve the American Interest...and the way...Oh! and have the best trained naval force on land sea and air...and technology to enforce USA's Will on all...237 year's old and a force to be reckoned with...Geronimo tried to help, " I will fight no more forever" He regretted not fighting till his death he later spoke...

... the best trained naval force on land sea and air.

Well, biggest in the West, not necessarily the best trained ;)

Well, we have China to thank for this move... Heres a thought , stop doing garbage like this and the US will be more than happy to close down bases in other countries and hole up back home...
