All the Republicans did here by delaying Hagel's confirmation was remind Americans yet again why they are completely unfit to ever lead the nation again.

Exactly right. A party in decline tends to let its most extremist kooks run the circus. Ted Cruz and James Inhofe are a disgrace to the Senate. At least John McCain and Lindsay Graham managed to act like adults at the end.

Finally we got rid of that dead-weight un-qualified loser Panetta... While he may have very well been a "nice guy," there were literally thousands of people more qualified to be secdef...
Hagel is an Excellent pick.... Now just have to get rid of Napolitano and what's his name running Justice, and we may have a fairly competent set of Cabinet members...

There were two votes in the Senate yesterday: one for cloture and the second for approval.
Rand Paul voted against cloture but for approval.
He certainly is the Poster Boy for GOP Schizophrenia.

Panetta and Napolitano were the best picks for the jobs. I am glad Napolitano is still in charge. She is a touch cookie.
