why bring "spiritual" India in defense strategy when "samurai" Japan (with proven Military Might) is already there in Asia?

Finally, the decision to bring the military and their families back to the USA. High tech wars are the way the USA will defend its allies, although it would be better if the allies changed their constitutions to allow themselves to defend against an enemy before the enemy enters its air space or territorial waters. It may have been a good idea in 1945, but it is time for change.

The USA should not do anything too stupid to China. Instead of the USA looking for new enemies how about getting more jobs for not just Americans but for Asia?? The USA can never win wars in Asia. Look at the mess on the Korean peninsula!! Better to have friendly relations with the Middle Kingdom.

I congraturate President Obama delivering a clear military strategy. From what he has spoken, it sums up with two issues listed below. I understood, Mr. President.

    1) Shifting focus from Europe to Asia.

2)Not focusing on structure, rather focusing on capability based on technology

Curiously tied in with Australia agreeing to sell Uranium to India and base US troops in Aus.. After Obama's visit. Clearly the objective is to bolster India's nuke program as a shield against China and Pakistan. The US just can't help itself.Meddling again. The US is the only place that profits from the chaos it creates.

China is a big country in Asia and has influenced that region for thousands of years. USA should spend its time, energy and money to fix their own problems and failing infrastructure.

Maybe the foreign residents opposed to their being here should pack it in.

It is the end of the World Wars.. India and USA will lead Asia. All the countries in Asia will join with them, except Pakistan and North Korea. Middle East will be handled by Isreal and other Arab countires.... The only way China can save the face by allowing both Koreas to unite and make a good trading partnership with Japan, unified Korea and India. You will see peace and prosperity in Asia and the world..
