The wife (last para) didn't explain why her husband was shooting at Davis? Loaded dice.
Some vindictive woman, although perhaps this was not a voluntary suicide.

The courts will need to work this out and I am looking forward to their conclusion. Their self-defense case will be difficult since it was a public area and he shot them in the back(s). I don't believe this person was a "diplomat" either.
This is a good case for a court to look into and I hope they find a solution that the populace can accept.

Yeah, if he works at the Consulate he is "Diplomatic Immunity" but his position/rank determines how much immunity he gets as there are different levels for different positions.
The US goverment needs to get clear on that one, after that it is up to the courts.
Claiming "Self Defense" is too early unless they have seen the police findings and court papers.

It sounds like the Pakistanis has never learn the 'rules' when neighbouring with the Americans! Sure they need to get some advices from Okinawa inhabitants!
