In Donetsk, militants paraded captured soldiers, some dressed in military fatigues and others in tattered civilian clothes, through a central square as people in a crowd of several thousand shouted abusive slurs at them.

One visibly agitated man yelled obscenities as he held an infant in one arm. A woman shouted “Hang the fascists from a tree!” Other women rushed at the prisoners, trying to kick and slap them, and were restrained by rebel fighters.

They bombed cities. Now people yell obscenities and throw eggs and bottles in their faces. It would be strange to see hugs and kisses instead of.

Parading military in Kiev may be in bad taste (though Moscow too), but can't parade POWs

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Parading POWs shows how far down the ladder the rebels have gone in terms of civilised behaviour. You want global sympathy and support? Then act like human beings - don't parade POWs and shoot down airliners!

Old Russian tradition : in year 1944 in summer campaign Red Army reported about huge amount of POW

Group Armies Center was totally destroyed

But Allies have SOME doubts about quantity of POW in the East Front

So July 17 1944 it was a big "Parade" in Moscow 57 thousands of Nazi passed by Moscow streets

19 Nazi generals goes ahead

Sure they need neither sympathy nor support from a side of liars who keep accusing them of downing the airliner.

So everyone here thinks that the Ukrainians shot the liner down? US say they have proof of a launch from within rebel held territory. A rebel leader said he knew which rebel group had shot it down.

Hey, I don't think shelling innocent civilians is civilised behaviour either, but if the rebels want to be taken seriously then parading POWs like Islamist terrorists isn't the way to do it. As far as I'm concerned Ukraine has more in common with the middle east then Europe. Ukraine = Israel, rebels = Hamas.

As for the airliner - until there is proof the rebels didn't shoot it down I'll believe the other side of the argument... after all a BUK launcher was seen rushing for the border not long after the plane came down... with a missile missing. It was filmed and shown on TV around the world.

You believe what you want, I'll believe what I want.

U.S. tell us a plain lie (as usual) covering arses of their Ukranian puppets.

after all a BUK launcher was seen rushing for the border not long after the plane came down... with a missile missing. It was filmed and shown on TV around the world.

Aviation experts from Europe has already pointed out that traces on wreckage of MH17 had been caused by either air-to-air missile or aircraft's automated gun. The BUK's shrapnel could cause a different kind of damage to hull of airplane.

Oh well... proven wrong again.

As for the damage... I remember seeing an expert saying the shrapnel pattern was consistent with a SAM rather than an Air to Air missile, but no doubt someone will provide a link to the official aviation experts' evaluation with the smoking gun pointing directly at Kiev... which no-one else except the Russians (and this forum) thinks is the case.

Oh, and if you read some more, you'll see that there was a report from a Russian news agency about the rebels nicking a BUK launcher... Daily Mail July 18:

Last month a Russian military news channel reported a Ukrainian launcher had fallen into the hands of separatists.

So the MSM is in on MH17. And a dozen western countries.

That makes it what....a few thousand people who are now officially "in on it"?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Nope, just 6 which control 90% of US media. Or didn't you know that? The same 6 that had 41% of Americans believing that Saddam Hussein was directly connected to 9/11. Or didn't you remember that. Put down the play station son.

This goes to show you to never trust the Russians.

Well, the Russians believed "those are not Russian troops in Crimea" Putin

Some people prefer to believe in rubbish delivered by mainstream media. Other people prefer to think and make conclusions, based on evidence and solid facts. Americans (and americanized europeans) are known in their natural naivety and therefore they are easily manipulated by various TV Puppet Masters from mainstream media. For example, more than hundred years ago Americans believed that Maine battleship was destroyed by Spanish saboteurs . Because they were told about by authorities through newspapers. No evidences of Spanish involvement has been found yet. Later American accused vietnamese of attack in Gulf of Tonkin and quickly started aggression against Vietnam. Later it has been revealed that attack in Gulf of Tonkin was an example of desinformation and plain lie. Need I say about false pretexts of last invasion of Americans in Iraq ? Today they accuse Putin or Russians and pro-Russian rebels in downing of Malaysian civil jet and you believe. Tomorrow they accuse smurfs and you will believe them too.

Oh, and if you read some more, you'll see that there was a report from a Russian news agency about the rebels nicking a BUK launcher...

In 2001 Ukranian military personnel shot down a Russian civil jet over Black Sea due to poorest military skills of Ukranians. The warhead of that missile was similar to BUK's by mechanism of damage to its target. High-density cloud of high-speed shrapnel literally rip the airplane off to tiniest pieces. Traces on wing of downed MH17 and holes in wreckage of cockpit were definitely caused bu bullets of aircraft-mounted gun or continuous rod of Air-to-Air missile. The last link in chain of evidence is to find bullets or ffragments of continuous rods among pieces of the wreckage. Nowadays pro-Russian rebels are cleaning off Ukranians a wide territory, that surrounds the crash site of airplane. If Dutch or Australian air crash investigators refuse to work, that's only their problem. Various experts are welcomed to come and carefully search the wreckage. Sooner or later the last link of chain of evidence will be found and revealed to wide public.
