I guess the only solution is to take lots of video to remind the world that this is a Russian army.

Maybe it's time for the UN to go in and start peacekeeping.

The ceasefire is seen as a first step in efforts to draw up a longer term peace deal to end a conflict that has cost more than 2,700 lives and set off the worst crisis in East-West relations since the Cold War. President Petro Poroshenko has pledged to offer the eastern regions that form the economic backbone of Ukraine some limited self-rule, although the separatists say they want nothing less than full independence.

1 It is information that only Ukrainian army (including different irregular forces) lost about 8 000 of soldiers..

Ukrainian army - very bad organised one.

And this is really bloody war...

2 Petro Poroshenko is not recognised s as president in eastern regions of Ukraine (that form the economic backbone of Ukraine)

So he use armed forces to gain love of the Donbass citizens ..

Donetsk council said there had been civilian casualties and described the situation in the city as "critical" but gave no further information.>

Kiev accused the rebels of jeopardizing the truce by intensifying their attacks on government positions in eastern Ukraine, the scene of five months of deadly combat

Notice the difference here, Ukraine is bombing women and children and the rebels are fighting government forces. Ukraine and Kiev: the land of rich US "resource puppets".

Putin needs an unstable Ukraine to keep Ukraine from moving more toward Europe rather than joining the new Soviet Union - oops, Russian Economic Empire - oops, bloc. Putin dreams of re-creating the USSR, but the Ukrainians don't want to go there, only the Russian imports. So Putin keeps stirring the pot and blaming everybody else.

@FizzBit Kind of like how Russia reneged on it's guarantees in the Budapest Memorandum, huh? Also, it's clear from your argument that you agree this is a Russian led operation.

gelendestrasse Putin needs an unstable Ukraine to keep Ukraine from moving more toward Europe rather than joining the new Soviet Union - oops, Russian Economic Empire - oops, bloc.

Sorry my friend - what do you means - moving WEST ?

Whole state Ukraine take its belongings and moving to the EU ?

Or what ?

To integrate Ukrainian economy in EU you need a huge sum of money

Plus : Ukrainian officials - VERY corrupted ones

So double this sum.

Ukrainian economy - very old fashioned , consume huge amount of Russian natural gas and can

sell its antic production ONLY in Russia

In EU Ukraine sale ONLY raw materials and semi-finished products

Ukraine also has a huge debts

So - how to integrate such country to EU ?

It's a fairy tale ....
