what an absolute idiot. In the UKs case it would be better if none of the main ones won - If I was there and could vote, I would go with the BNP. Sadly, It seems they are the most sensible of the lot.

I don't know why he apologised. That woman was a xenophobic bigot. I'm more disappointed Brown was too gutless to use it as an excuse as to why racism has no place in any society.

The bigoted prime minister should have been careful about the pin microphone. He had better make sure to turn it off next time.

"That woman was a xenophobic bigot." So? Most of humanity is somewhat xenophobic. Great Britain is an island. It is not America, Canada, or Oz. "...racism has no place in any society." Uh, E Europeans are basically the same race as the majority of the British people. Nonetheless, "that woman's" anti-immigration sentiments are understandable - - especially after the bombshell report of last year that the Labour Party in Britain deliberately relaxed immigration laws and limits not because of any genuine humanitarian concerns for E Europeans or Africans or whomever but because they wanted to "to rub the right's nose in diversity." Brown and his party now get what they have coming.
