Pure garbage, what hypocrisy. This the same U.N. whose members have been implicated in stomach turning rapes and sexual exploitation of children in the very countries they are supposed to be helping.

I can't believe that this is even a discussion item in the UN. You mean there are countries that really believe that it's not a war crime to commit genocide by impregnating the population of a country.

That raping women and children is an acceptable form of combat. Out frigging rageous. < :-)

they are talking about acts of individuals, not countries of course. I couldn't believe rape would be a tactic of war, any war at any point in time. If it was used, I would be very surprised.

She's saying it shouldn't be a weapon of war. Just a perq.

    These are not individual acts.

    Oh, now Nessie I understand.

Raping women of the conquered country is just part of the fruits of war?

You mean when our US service men went into Iraq and those few soldiers and Marines went stupid and raped and killed, this was an entiltement of war?

    Gawd, I never understood that. < :-)
