Just as a side note, a couple of my old army buddies resigned from the Australian Army in order to take high paying consultancy jobs with the Sri Lankan government (this was a while back). Both had a solid background in CRW (counter revoluntary warefare) and the content of their jobs in Sri Lanka was allegedly related to hearts and minds, etc. Anyway, they both lasted about 2 weeks in-country before resigning. Apparently both the government and Tamil Forces were engaging in genocide rather than military operations and my mates wanted no part of it. With their tails between their legs, they both reenlisted in the Australian Army after their Sri Lankan "holiday," both are now searching for OBL and his buddies in Afghanistan.
