Suu Kyi has made her STRONG point to the UN and to the world that "Junta is trying to make the world believe that they are having dialogue with the opposition, but in truth, the junta is still taking more and more political prisoners and going ahead with their own one-sided Road-Map which was designed (for 14 years) for the military to hold the country's real power permanently".
Gambari was merely the junta's invited guest to put UN's rubberstamp on junta's one-sided Road Map and has no choice but forced to meet 10 (bogus) civilian societies created by the junta itself. However, the real elected leaders representing the ethnic minorities (UNC)and democratic parties (CRPP) were never allowed to meet the UN envoy. Not in the past and not now.
The UN envoy unable to persuade the junta from freeing all political prisoners (2092 of them in total) and failed to bring about meaningful dialogue participated by all parties.
The junta extended Suu Kyi's house arrest for the 6th. year, last May, without a trial,(although the Law in Myanmar allows no more than 5 years).
The UN envoy unable to meet any of the senior military leaders hiding away in Naypyitaw.
The envoy spent only 20 minutes to talk with election winning NLD leaders but wasted four and a half days of his visit meeting junta's so-called civil societies such as USDA, Women's Association etc.
Not much of a point for Suu Kyi to say anything else as Gambari has run out of choices and started to advocate Junta's Road Map.
