Hamas hijacks the humanitarian aid. Raise your hand if you are surprised.
...anyone? No? But, its all about the long suffering Palestinian people, right?

Yeah, it is.
Treat people like animals long enough, and don't be surprised when they start to act like animals.

Borders don't open.
Israel continues to bomb at will.
UN keeps tons of food away from the people who need it.
No I'm not surprised at all. < :-)

I called that one. Maybe someday in the distant future I'll be happily proven wrong, but thus are the fanciful dreams of men and mice.

People posting need to realize that their are a lot of happy Arabs living in Israel side by side with Jews. The so called Palestinians are haters and terrorists who do not want to live with their Jewish neighbors and get what they deserve.

Apparently, their land was not valuable enough to steal. Or, they just let it go.
You cannot expect a majority of people to tolerate that kind of adversity.
The Arabs of Israel/Palestine were robbed. It is difficult to choose between a)the Israelis give the land back or b) the Arabs get over it. But as time goes by, b becomes the answer. But it won't be the answer completely clearly in our lifetimes.
Anyway, long before Lord Balfour decided to remake a Jewish homeland in Palestine, there were happy Jews living there side by side with Arabs. Then Jewish immigrants came and screwed that all up. Some of those people are still alive, and still remember.

And to actually think some people spent hours and hours defending HAMAS and slamming Israel.
HAMAS is nothing but a bunch of thugs hiding behind their twisted version of Islam to sanctify their barbarity.
One good thing though, judging from the lack of posts here. The blinders are finally starting to come off about these jerks.
Stealing from the U.N now? When the people really start to starve because even the U.N has had enough of them, are we going to see posts rallying about how the U.N is oppressing them now.
This is just sickening no matter how you look at it. HAMAS doesn't deserve anybodies sympathy or support. They are the ones that directly responsible for the misery they put their people under, and the most sickening part is that they relish in it, rely on it and then pronounce to the world that they are the 'victims' here.
Stealing from the U.N my God how stupid these people are.

Tell us who and show us quotations of people defending Hamas. And please don't just show me someone arguing against Israel's actions because that's my point -- you take people saying Israel is being overaggressive in its retaliation as being support for Hamas. You made that mistake in pretty much every thread on the subject. I can show you, if you like, plenty of people who argued against Israel and felt like Palestinian civilians were getting a raw deal in all this. Among those I can show you, I think, a total of three posters who actually said Hamas was in the right in what it was doing.
Seriously... people who think that arguing against Israel means you are arguing FOR Hamas are the type of people that keep this war going (or at least, possess the mentality that keeps it going and rationalizes one side of it). That goes for the other side as well... anyone thinking Hamas is right and Israel completely wrong is foolish as well.

Quote "the Hamas-run Ministry of Social Affairs stole 10 truckloads of flour and rice delivered to Gaza on Thursday. Earlier this week, Hamas police took thousands of blankets and food parcels meant for needy residents."
How else are they supposed to take care of the fighters underground? Just as in N Korea, the army must surely come first, before the people.

Well they've started an illogical war that can never end in victory. Can anything else really top that?

Sail, I hope Smith's words sink in. Few support Hamas.

Few support Hamas? Well directly anyway but by totally blocking Israel from defending herself and doing nothing about attacks they indirectly give the Hamas the moral victory they so much want to declare themselves victorious in their mental frenzy of hate. Waiting for mr smith to come and tell us how wrong I am and how right he is. Bring it on. harharhar.

If you read this article and find that you're still posting about Israel anyway, you might be biased.

A tough one for the leftists. Do they support their Hamas terrorist heroes or their beloved U.N.? What a dilemma.
