Let this be a lesson, there are better things to spend a country's treasure on than nuclear weapons. Yes, it is a terrible flood but I will not feel one stitch of sympathy for anyone in Pakistan until they give up their nuclear weapons.
Too bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that'll teach those illiterate, malnourished farm labourers and their brats. Don't waste your pitiful wages on nukes.

kyushujoe They need to pick up their hoes and get rid of their government.

kyushujoe And their government now has a chance to make a deal; we will hand over all of our nukes to the US in exchange for aide to help our people.

From the most recent report I'd heard Pakistan stated they may need aid for the next 3 years. I don't think international aid is going to hold out for that long now is it? On top of that more flooding is presumed to be on the way.

The government in Pakistan has been supported by the US government since it was founded, and that support has continued despite numerous cases of corruption and suppression. If the people "downed their hoes" and fought to remove their government, the US would be the first to ensure they were put back in their place. The US government has provided over ten billion dollars in military aid over the last ten years. It's a rotten, sick relationship and absolutely not the fault of the Pakistani people.

Hmmm - just like North Korea: starving, but armed to the teeth. As for the foreign aid, where are those millions of dollars from the rich Muslim countries (The Emirates, Saudi Arabia or Brunei etc) for the suffering Umma? Why is it the infidels who are expected their worst enemy? What a joke!

"Saudi Arabia yesterday announced a $105m aid contribution, according to Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority, though just $5m of this will be in cash, with the rest in the form of relief goods. The Saudi public has separately raised $19m."
