The U.S. is keeping them off each other for now, but it will not last.
Turkey will eventually use this an an opportunity to try an eliminate Kurds.
CrazyJoe
Turkey will never fight their "brothers" in ISIS.
In this case Turkey warned ISIS of its intention to "invade" Syria and made arrangements to let ISIS temporary withdraw, or simply slip in FSA uniforms...
The hostility of the Turks was/is entirely directed at the Kurds who they blame for terrorism in Turkey. The Turks see such terrorism as punishment from ISIS for the successful YPG attacks against ISIS in Syria.
FizzBit
You forgot one silent major player in all this CrazyJoe, Israel.

Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan son Bilal Erdogan was involved in illegal and lucrative oil trading for ISIS and that income funds ISIS activity in Iraq and Syria. Sümeyye Erdogan, the daughter of the Turkish President runs a secret hospital camp inside Turkey just over the Syrian border and that hospital treats wounded ISIS Jihadists. ISIS militants were trained by Turkish Special Forces at secret bases in Konya Province inside the Turkish border to Syria, over the past three years. The wars in its neighboring countries make Turkey economy thriving and as well as Erdogan family business. Erdogan Government was comfortable with war in Iraq and Syria and it doesn’t want war to end soon. So elder Erdogan doesn't want to fight ISIS but he does want to smash arch-enemy PKK inside Iraq and Syria. The main reason of President Erdogan sending Turkish troops into Syria was to remove PKK Kurdish force from Syria soil and not after ISIS.
