Many rich kids were emotionally hyjacked by his teaching and became his victims and financial slaves. Some of them were very brainwashed, it too many years of therapy.
They did not have enough to eat. Instead of staying at school for study, many dropped out from school and started selling flowers 10 hrs a day at street corners and airports.
I remember this evil man (Moon) very well as I did help some Japanese students who were emotionally trapped. . If you are one of these who are reading this news today, you are still in my thoughts how much we all struggled legally and emotionally in US. I hope you are all back to normal life and doing okay.. My best wishes to you all.
I have no tear to shed for Moon. I am glad he is gone forever.

The church says the U.S. government persecuted Moon because of his growing influence and popularity with young people in the United States
Religious oppression from liberals, the Democrats??

I am glad that this 'cult' has been banned in China, saving many ignorant lives and their money!

It's interesting that the two most "successful" new religions in Asia were both headed by North Koreans. The other one being Daisaku Ikeda of Soka Gakkai International. Ikeda's Korean background (he was born Song Tae Chak in Tokyo's Ota Ward) is noted in the English Wikipedia entry. (It was apparently removed from the Japanese entry, which carried it as recently as last week.)
