"Rebel", "insurgents", "militants".... the media writers are bending over backwards to call jihadists by their name.

Bring the troops out of Iraq and put more troops in Afghanistan.

John McCain wants to call this call for more troops in Afghanistan a surge, also.

It's not a surge. It's the build up of troops that should have been done years ago. But to call it a surge, sounds like a planned effort. This isn't a planned effort, it's something that should have been done period. < :-)

The tragic thing is, I can see that once the buildup in Afghanistan reaches its peak, Al Qaeda or whatever it calls itself can rally more troops back to Iraq or anywhere else it wants in that area of the globe.
