How can there be a restart of USA-Russian relations if the USA continues to push for the Ukraine, Georgia and other former Soviet territories be absorbed into NATO? It looks like the US position hasn't changed. Not surprising, since Clinton's husband started the assault on Russia during his presidency in the 1990's.

But the Russian added that “we agreed that on all questions, including those on which we have differences, we will work in the spirit of partnership, honestly and openly.”

We haven't had a positive statement from Russia like this in a long time. Hillary has definately changed the approach by the US to other countries.

As for U.S. and Russian arms, Obama has said he is willing to engage Moscow in talks on reducing the number of strategic nuclear weapons below the 1,700-to-2,200 limit that was set in a deal signed in 2002 by President George W. Bush and Putin.

This is one of best things I've read in a long time. I would love to see a concerted effort to reduce arms to a much greater number. < :-)
