OK, so you arrest them, but then what do you do with them all?

Execute them in a grisly fashion and leave their bodies hanging somewhere as a warning?

If you wanted to take the eye-for-an-eye route.

    Altria, we re-educate them, right?

It's called expedited removal. They round em' up, process the lot of them, boot them back to where they came from, and forbid them from entering the country for a while. Although my first instinct would be to slot the buggers and be done with it. But I suppose that's one of the reasons I'm not in politics, my approach to a problem is often too efficient...and severely lacking in subtelty.

Their nationalities are not stated. Could just as easily be US citizens, for all we know.

Considering the artical is about the U.S targeting a Mexican cartel I assumed that they were either; A) Mexican nationals or B) the trash that work with the drug dealers. In either case they can be tried for drug trafficing in the U.S...although my idea of slotting the lot of them should never be totally taken off the bargaining table.

Meth is much cheaper than heroine. The CIA doesn't like competition.

Altria- "Execute them in a grisly fashion and leave their bodies hanging somewhere as a warning?" Yeah. Crucify them in X fashion and place them along the U.S./Mexico border ala the "forbidden zone" in Planet of the Apes.
