The only big televangelist who never got embroiled in a sex scandal is dead! Was he a man, or a machine? If he never got any on the side, I neither condemn nor praise him. But looking at the other televangelists, I cannot say fidelity is what made him great can I? It must have been something else for all of them.

Well, the only big tel-evangelist who never got caught in a sex scandal after crashing a huge Cadillac Escalade is dead! Was he a man, a tiger, or a machine? If he never got any on the side (like I do!), I don't castigate nor condone him. But, looking at the other tel-evangelists, many of whom are no longer on TV, since this was more of an 80s and 90s thing, I cannot say fidelity is what made him great, can I? I can't really make a point either, can I?It must have been something else for all of them. Fill in the blanks,people. Get out the smelling salts. I can't do all the work here.

Gombei424Canada, scathing, my friend from north of the border! But I do have a point. He is the only big televangelist I know that did not get caught in a sex scandal. Does it make him better than the others? Only on the point of being a hypocrite because only Roberts wasn't. But if we look at the reason he wasn't we may not be all that impressed, like if I said I would never get pregnant. My point is to stop judging people based solely on sex or lack of it which many people do these days. Its stupid.

Oral Roberts was the TV Pastor who banned sex in his church, because it might lead to dancing.

Well he certainly started a trend, look how big people like JimBaker got back in the day. Can't say I was a fan but he took his faith seriously. RIP
