  This article may be about the test of a defense shield, but there's never a wrong time to start thinking about ridding the place of nukes. There are 10,000s nuclear weapons. If we ridded the world of nukes, we don't need a missile defense shield.

  We have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the earth many many times. Never a wrong time to think peace. < :-)

  A missile defense system makes it possible to stop a strike instead of just making threats of hitting back. Also makes taking out a single missile or group of missiles launched from the ocean in which it may not be possible to know the responsible party.

  You know folks, I understand what the interceptor missile is and what it's for. And I guess it's all cool. But if we didn't have nuclear weapons we wouldn't have to worry about an attack like this at all.

  Instead of the US staying within the Nuclear Non-Prolitheration Act, gwb said to hell with that and started making and testing nuclear weapons. he has no intension of staying within the boundaries of the Act. he's giving his buddies weapons contracts, when we should be dismantling nuclear weapons.

  People on here complain and complain about Iran getting nuclear weapons. I sure as hell don't want them, but when the big boys have them everybody wants them.

  That's why I have been adament about Iran. You can't complain about them when we rip up the NPA and build more and smarter nuclear weapons, watch and assist China, India and Pakistan in their ambition and say to Iran... "Oh No, you can't do what everybody else does, we're God and we say so." That's about as hypocritical as you can get.

  But back to this system. I'm glad it worked. But I'd rather see us working to get rid of them. < :-)

  This is good but not as awsome as laser gun loaded on Boeing 747 to destroy enemy's ICBM. If America can mastermind this laser weapon technology ,the more ICBM the enemy have the more troubles they will be in.
