We've been screwing around in Iraq for so long that Al-Queada and the Taliban have been rebuilding for 5 years. We need to get in, do our job and get the hell out. Afghanistan could become another Iraq.
Used to say another Vietnam didn't we? < :-)

I really wish that since they started things up in Afghanistan as part of the 'war on terror' that they had had the guts to stay and finish it, instead of creating Iraq as a diversion away from the inability to catch OBL ("I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."). Now things are getting worse and worse, and it looks like no end in site.

Well, my friends, it looks like bush, who is the worst president of all time, and always was from the get go, got the last laugh. The few remaining bush loyalists here must be really proud of what he DIDN'T do in Afghanistan!
Yes, said loyalists probably wish bush had a THIRD term, or declared a police state (like we all know he was planning, until Obama, who I respect the hell out of, came onto the scene)so they could come here and write about him EVERY day, even though Obama is heaps more intelligent(but that's not saying much, even a walrus is,hahahaha)and will take America in the right direction at last.
Like me, and like Ghandi, I feel Obama understands that war never solves ANYTHING! Well, anyways, it's a shame about the violence in Afghanistan.I'm sure I'll have to come back though, because we all know some FOOLS will try to say the problem is the Muslims, and that the world's 1.6 billion Muslims, who all hate bush, are violent or something.

Comments ranting about Bush are so yesterday's news. Not to mention OT from the article.

Actually OssanAmerica until we change the dynamics in Afghanistan we're still looking at george bush's war and his failures.
The dynamics will be changed in the near future, but until Barack Obama and Robert Gates have had that opportunity, it's still the same war that george bush started and the same condition that it was when he left office.
But soon Barack Obama and Robert Gates will have the troops and the opportunity to make a change in Afghanistan and a chance to set the stage for fighting and ending the war finally. < :-)
